Oh sleep, you're such a big cheat
I have things to do, deadlines to meet
But from me you steal so much time
Why, sleep, do you commit this crime?

So you mean to say that I rob you
If you had time though, what'd you do?
It is me whom you conveniently blame
Okay then, two can play in this game.

I would study, maybe relax a bit
But that doesn't matter, does it
For what I do is none of your business
Come on time, it wouldn't be such a mess

Oh I do come knocking every night
But your face shines from your screen's light
And you are the one to shoo me away
And now you think you don't have a say

How dare you talk like that to me
I'm the boss here, can't you see?
Why can't you come when I tell you to
Is that so tough a task to do?

If only you listen to me once
Your whole body, sleep's what it wants
For once, just listen and let me decide
You'll feel so fresh, you'll be surprised!

New year 2015

In 2015

A happy new year it is
Everything's new and i should be happy
Nothing I wished but blessed Luckily
karma you call, Luck I say
Whatever it is, has worked my way.

But nothings changed
As my nights go agitated on the bed
I wonder if I were a girl, to cling to something Fozy and feel Dozy
When I think of future its still woozy
am still not cozy
May be a vacation some where oozy
And No i don't want to be boozy or get a floozy.
I better take a tablet and get drowsy.

New Year 2014

In 2014 

Last new years night
I was sleeping tight
a lazy morning and I was  muzzy
i pick my phone and watch the screen
To see Calls and message looking at me
happy  new year it all said 
But nothing  really was new about it.

I am a like a crawling child
Who seldom goes into the wild
Spending my day at home
wishing to have gone some where
But I always only wish, nothing more.
Nothing new, nothing happy
Nothing I wish happens in reality
And my phone blinks
" I wish u a happy new year"
Again.
